Night at Auckland Museum is back for only four nights in the July School Holidays. Bring a torch and explore Auckland Museum after hours and meet creatures with stories to tell.
Packed full of performances, quirky characters, music and fun, Night at Auckland Museum is a rare chance to explore the museum and the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition after hours.
Aotea Square Ice Rink is back for winter fun, kicking off on Friday 16 June in Aotea Square, This popular winter wonderland will delight visitors with an entertaining schedule of themed weekends, competitions and parties as well as the new Skate Path.
This year there will be a magical Snow Dome play-area on offer alongside the rink from 1 July 2017 too.
Aotea Square Ice Rink will be complimented by a free Winter Lounge, courtesy of Auckland Live, which will be lit up in celebration of Matariki, the Māori New Year, as well as the beautiful installation Mountain of Light by Angus Muir Design. Skaters will also be treated to themed weekends of fun including the popular Americana party, a Rugby Fever weekend, an Ice Sports weekend for aspiring skaters and novices alike, and more.
Opening hours: Friday 16 June to Sunday 23 July 2017: Monday to Friday from noon to 10pm; Saturday and Sunday 10am to 10pm.
