After School Robotics Clubs @ MOTAT

MOTAT 1: 805 Great North Road, Western Springs, Auckland

MOTAT’s after school Robotics Club will introduce youngsters to programming and robotics in a fun and supportive environment. Whether they have an existing interest or are keen to try something new – this club is a great opportunity to engage and inspire young minds with STEM learning.

MOTAT’s  Robotics Club runs weekly on Wednesdays from 4pm to 5pm in Term 1 from 3 March to 31 March 2021. The club is suitable for children aged 8+ and costs $50.

Bricks 4 Kidz® – LEGO® motorised model building, robotics and coding

Bricks 4 Kidz® is devoted to providing an extraordinary atmosphere for children aged 5-13, where they learn, build, and play with LEGO® Bricks. Designed to teach the fundamentals of STEM, each class is a fun, enriching experience, building weekly projects based on a variety of themes. The STEM curriculum at Bricks 4 Kidz® teaches critical thinking skills that will create future problem solvers!

After School Classes include: LEGO® Motorised Model Building, WeDo 2.0 and EV3 Mindstorm Robotics.

After school weekly Minecraft sessions at Auckland Libraries.  Swap Minecraft tips and tricks and complete building challenges. Or simply brag about your latest building achievement. Bring your own device (laptop, iPad, etc). Does not run in the school holidays and on public holidays.

Code Club is offering free basic software training to children in years 5-8.  This course will cover the core concepts of computer programming, software design and small-scale Internet of Things projects using Netduino and external sensors.
