Take a journey through Aotearoa at Auckland Zoo these holidays and discover the natural treasures living in New Zealand’s backyard.

On your trek of our Te Wao Nui precinct, encounter stunning wildlife – from our ‘living dinosaur’, the tuatara, and cheeky mountain parrot – the kea, to little penguin, tuna (longfin eels) and kiwi, to name just a few!

See and find out what makes New Zealand’s animals so special and unique, and why they are taonga (treasures).

With your complimentary Auckland Zoo map, collect an animal stamp at each of the 7 treasure locations.
