Come see the NZ premiere the DIARY of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical show – it’s the school holidays, what else do you have to do? It is a vibrant, laugh out loud show for the whole family!
Middle school, ugh. It’s the worst. But Greg is determined not to be at the bottom of the popularity chart. He’ll leave that to his weird neighbor, Fregley. Or maybe Greg’s best friend, Rowley Jefferson. But it’s not going to be Greg…no way.
Jeff Kinney’s popular character takes center stage as Greg’s cartoon diary becomes a hilarious and heartfelt musical. Will Greg’s plans to become popular lead him to sacrifice his one true friend? Can anyone avoid the dreaded Cheese Touch?

Based on the “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” Book Series by Jeff Kinney, and the 20th Century Fox Films.

Step into a world of enchantment as Comet Collab proudly presents the second edition of Enchanted Garden. On Saturday, May 4th, Naomi and Bill Kirk Park in Māngere Bridge Village will be the canvas for a breathtaking display of 500 fluorescent flowers, set to illuminate the night sky for one unforgettable evening.
In addition to our captivating light-art installation enjoy performances by talented local groups.
As the sun sets, immerse yourself in the melodic tunes of handpans performed live by Alive Metal, adding an ethereal soundtrack to your journey through our mesmerizing garden. Wander through the vibrant hues of our unique blooms, each one a testament to the creativity and imagination of our community.
Inflorescence, the signature installation, returns to captivate audiences once again. Created from over 1,000 meticulously spliced plastic bottles, this collaborative artwork offers a striking juxtaposition of industrial and natural elements. Delve into the history of each plastic piece, pondering its past life and the impact it has on our environment.
The zero-waste event will be fun for all ages, proudly supported by the Māngere Bridge Village Business Association. Enjoy delicious bites from food trucks, get your face painted, and embark on a scavenger hunt through the enchanted grounds. With wheelchair-friendly access, this is an experience the whole family can enjoy together.
Don’t miss out on this magical evening of art, music, and community spirit.
* Cancellation is only likely in the event of extreme weather conditions and will be announced on the event page.
