Auckland Museum is open at Level 2

Auckland Museum has reopened. Visit 10am to 5pm daily.

You will need to register when you get to the museum for contract tracing and to ensure that there aren’t too many people at the museum. If you don’t have a mobile phone, the museums visitor hosts can help you. Remember to keep two metres apart from other visitors and staff as you move about and follow the one way path system.

Visitors are asked to wear a face mask or cloth face covering while you’re at the Museum, to reduce any potential health risk to you and other visitors.

The Volcanoes gallery and Weird & Wonderful are closed at Level 2 as these are interactive and involve touching. The Holocaust & Colours galleries, bunker areas and trenches, will have limited entry.
