Event Details

While the traditional ceremonies won’t be held this Anzac Day, Auckland Museum will continue to reflect upon and honour the day through lighting the building.

From dusk on 19 April to dawn on Saturday 25 April, the building will shine poppy-red as a commemorative tribute to this important day.

The poppy is the international symbol for the Anzacs, and the use of this colour recognises the tremendous determination and spirit of our Anzacs and service-people.
