The Incredible Rooftop Tour at Auckland Museum is on daily at 10:15am this summer until 8 Feb 2021

The tour is suitable for children aged 11 and over, teenagers and adults.

Come up and hear the history and be amazed by the unbeatable views. Learn more about one of Auckland’s most beloved heritage buildings, while enjoying incredible panoramic views from the rooftop out over the Waitematā harbour, Mt Eden and beyond.

Throughout this 1 hour tour, you’ll learn about the building, the people who work at Auckland Museum and the museum’s place in the Domain from this unique vantage point.

The tour includes stairs and is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. This is an outdoor event so dressing for the weather on the day is highly advised. In the case of severe weather, heavy rain or strong winds, the tour will be cancelled and the museum’s team will contact you to rebook onto another date, or organise a refund.
