Takapuna Winter Lights Festival at Hurstmere Green
The all-ages outdoor sensory experience is a FREE event in the heart of Takapuna for the community and families to enjoy.
Enjoy illuminated art, music and performances from some of New Zealand’s best renowned creative talents as they band together in the heart of Takapuna. One of New Zealand’s leading light artists Angus Muir is excited to be headlining this year’s festival. Also part of this year’s line-up is Vospertron – globally-acclaimed performance artist; SILO – the creative team behind the award-winning LUMA sensory journey in Queenstown; and some amazing local talent including DJ Karn Hall. Combined, they will bring mid-winter Takapuna to life at this weekend event.
Takapuna Beach Business Association is hosting the event which is part of the Elemental AKL Festival 2021 and is supported by SILO, AMD, Go Media, Devonport Takapuna Local Board and Auckland Unlimited.
