NZ Outdoor Art uses Google Maps to pinpoint street artwork. You can use it to find out where to take your family to expore, or to find out who the artist is of the street art that you have seen.

The website has been created by Matthew Anderson and Fengzhu Ji. “Our search for hidden art opened our eyes to the amount of commissioned and street art we walked past on a daily basis without really taking notice of. We starting learning about the artists and discovering side streets full of murals and other street art.”

You can also contribute to the website and map, if you find a piece of public art that hasn’t been included already. Have fun finding all the art in Auckland.
