Explore the mangroves of the of Whangateau Harbour with an experienced snorkel guide; you never know what you might spot? Discover crabs, triplefins, parore and yellow eyed mullet. Fun for the whole whanau. Register at the event on the day. Sea conditions permitting.Bring your own gear or get free hire of our mask, snorkel, fins and wetsuits. Recommended for everyone 5 years and up. All children under 15 years must be accompanied by an adult beach observer. Experienced guides and advanced safety procedures will be in place on the day.

Imagine spending years in hiding because of prejudice and hate. Developed by Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, the international exhibition Let Me Be Myself – The Life Story of Anne Frank explores how life was for Anne Frank and her family, and looks at the events surrounding the Holocaust and the rise of the Nazi Party in Germany. Auckland Museum is the first to host this exhibition in New Zealand as part of a three-year tour supported by The Holocaust Centre of New Zealand.

20 well known Artists and Celebrities have created 20  ‘Dogs of Art’ that are exhibited throughout Parnell galleries, stores and retail shops for 2 weeks. Splore Festival 2018

Situated in a beguiling bay on the shores of Tapapakanga Park is a boutique music and arts festival like no other.  An entertainment extravaganza and New Zealand’s greatest dress up party.  Splore Festival is family friendly. There’s a dedicated kids’ zone with its own programme of activities and separate, free family camping areas.
