Ice Skate Tour
Red Beach Primary School, Whangaparoa, Auckland

Be prepared for a cool but not cold ice skating experience. The Ice Skate Tour travels around New Zealand with state of the art, artificial ice rinks. They look like ice and have 97% same gliding capacity as natural ice. Surrounded by an inflatable boarding and helmets + gloves provided at no charge (both compulsory for kids) it’s the safest possible way to try ice skating. Prices: $8 for kids under 16, $12 for adults and $35 for a family pass (2 adults + 2 kids OR 1 Adult + 3 Kids) which includes ice skates, helmet, gloves and at least half an hour ice skating (longer if capacity allows).

Learn about the planets, stars and constellations that are visible in the night sky this winter in this presenter-led show. Sit back and relax in the high-back, reclined seats in the Stardome’s 360-degree immersive theatre. After the show, you will get to look through courtyard telescopes if the weather is fine, or experience a special tour of the night sky through the Large Zeiss Telescope up in the dome.
