Nepal Festival 2018

This year New Zealand Nepal Society presents you the biggest outdoor festival celebrating Nepalese Food, Art and Culture. Highlights include:
- Spectacular performance from Kutumba - the famous instrumental folk Nepalese band.
- Delicious Nepalese food stalls along with others
- Nepalese Arts & crafts
- Traditional and contemporary Nepalese music & performances
- Kids and Children Face painting zone

Out West Model Show
Te Atatu Peninsula Community Centre, 595 Te Atatu Road, Te Atatu Peninsula
Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 November 2018: 10:00am to 4:30pm
Model expo for enthusiasts and all the family. There will be 12 model train layouts from model rail clubs of the upper North Island. Some will be huge, spanning many metres and passing specially built scenes. The locomotives range in size from a few centimetres to half a metre, reproducing the greatest machines of the worlds railways. Children will be able to operate trains on their own layout and have a turn at running the radio controlled models.
Radio controlled cars will race around a circuit and boats will navigate in their own pool. Model ships and aeroplanes will be on display and creative modellers will show off the best of their work.

Zoom in on nature’s designs or create your own butterfly and unleash it into a magical digital garden.
