This workshop is hands on and involves elements across the spectrum of STEAM; including coding, 3D printing, math, and engineering. This workshop is for 8 to 12 year olds who identify as female.

Riddle + Squizz workshops are for kids aged four to seven years who love to ask questions and create answers. In these hands-on sessions, participants will experiment with different kinds of materials and art-making techniques. Workshops are led by Greta Menzies from Ready Steady Studio and co-facilitators from CORE Education. Workshops will be filmed and participants and their artworks will have the chance to appear in upcoming episodes of Riddle + Squizz on TVNZ.

Ted Ashby Heritage Sailing


New Zealand Maritime Museum, Auckland
Saturday 26 and Sunday 26 August 2018: 11:30am and 1:30pm sailings

Climb aboard Ted Ashby is a ketch-rigged deck scow  for a one hour experience with her knowledgeable crew. It’s a good idea to pre-book your ticket, although remaining spaces will be available for purchase from the Museum shop on the day. Life jackets are supplied for children from 10kg up to the age of 14 years. Children under 10kg cannot join a Ted Ashby sailing.
