Bike Rave Auckland is back this Biketober – a glowtastic night ride around the city. Bedazzle your bike, dress in your wildest outfit, blast some party tunes and be ready for sensory overload!Pre-party at Silo Park from 6:30pm and set off on a 7km ride around the city cycle loop at sun down (around 8pm). Cruising mostly along protected cycleways, take in the fabulous pink path – Te Ara i Whiti, Grafton Gully Cycleway, the waterfront and celebrate back in Silo Park.

Monster Fireworks Display

Fantastic family night of spectacular fireworks, presented by Bad Boy Fireworks. The display has become a wonderful community event for all ages. This year Mahan’s rides (located by the main gate) will be offering an “all you can ride” option for $30. Rides operating from 5.30 to 9.30pm. Grab a wrist band and ride as many times as you like.

Halloween in Mt Eden Village

Kowhai Festival – Wild West Huge Day Out

The Kowhai Festival is an annual community festival celebrating the things that make Rodney such a great place to live. The show will start at 9am with Kapa Haka groups from Matakana and Warkworth Primary Schools and keep on going until the Garden Bar closes at 6pm. There is a ‘food strip’ at the Warkworth wharf and over 1,000 stalls. Kids entertainment includes a 30m long obstacle course, a riding bull for the older generation to show off their skills.
