Be amazed by these stunning insects in this family-friendly exhibition that reveals unbelievable butterfly facts and is packed full of interactive activities. Zoom in on nature’s designs or create your own butterfly and unleash it into a magical digital garden.

Butterfly Egg Hunt

Despite their virtual nature, it seems the butterflies from The Secret Life of Butterflies have been laying eggs around the Auckland Museum. Find them all before they start to hatch and eat the objects! Follow the clues and find out how many there to be humanely transported  to the nearest swan plant. Pick up a trail from the information desks.
