What's happening at MOTAT in the April school holidays?
MOTAT’s blockbuster exhibition Above and Beyond is still open and will remain at MOTAT right through the break until Sunday 28th April.
MOTAT’s holiday experience for April is Treasure Hunts so bring your code breaking, clue busting skills and tackle five treasure trails to uncover the gems within MOTAT’s collection.
On Easter Sunday, MOTAT’s LIVE day will see our picturesque historic village come to life to offer visitors a taste of what New Zealand in the late 1800s and early 1900s was like.
Tram Rides are always an essential part of a great day at MOTAT and we recommend you take the ride all the way to the Meola Rd location to visit the newly expanded Aviation Display. 32 full scale aircraft are on show including two mammoth and very rare flying boats – it’s a site to behold!
