We love to feature fun family events such as festivals, fairs, shows, drop-in activities, exhibitions, and more. Just make sure your event is something that parents can enjoy together with their kids or teens and can keep everyone happily entertained for at least 30 minutes, preferably longer.

Please Note: We don’t list ongoing series of classes (including free trials) or school holiday programmes/activities where parents aren’t involved. These fall under regular business operations, not special events. If you’re interested in a paid listing for such activities, please fill out this enquiry form instead.

Submission Guidelines:

• Submit Early: Please send us your event details at least one week before the event date.

• Image Requirements: Include a photo or image that is text-free and free of any branding or words. Without a suitable image, we cannot publish your event.

• Plan Ahead: Feel free to submit events up to 12 months in advance.

• Event Changes: If any details about your event change after submission, please notify us by emailing events@aucklandforkids.co.nz

While we aim to publish most of the events submitted, the final decision rests with our editor. Submitting your event doesn’t guarantee it will be included in our calendar. You’ll be notified if your event is selected for our listings.
