World class talent confirmed for International Buskers Festival

​Downtown Auckland will be taken over by incredible busking talent from 26 to 29 January 2018, including an international line-up that festival producers have been trying to snag for years. Auckland International Buskers Festival 2018 brings acrobatics, magic, comedy, dance and unicycles to the masses for an unmissable four days of glorious street theatre.

A dozen astonishing performers will entertain audiences away with shows that embody everything great about going to a modern circus and everything fun about outdoor performing.

​A small selection of the outrageous talent on show:
Red Trousers Show – a highly sought after acrobatic, juggling and comedy duo that have been performing in theatres, and busking all over the world for almost twenty years!
Snap Boogie – this top-12 finalist from season 6 of NBC’s America’s Got Talent takes no prisoners in his multi-disciplinary dance show.
Nathaniel Rankin – the current Canadian Champion of Magic who combines state of the art illusion with mind reading. Nathaniel Rankin has won numerous awards in European and American Festivals for this show –Borderline Madness.
Witty Look – charming duo from Japan who fuse unbelievable unicycle stunts with clowning to create a unique comic act.
Bubble Laboratory – Dr Air-in Bubble will take over the waterfront and fill the air with bubbles in this jaw-dropping display.

Bring the family down for the daily shows running from noon, or head to Market Square in the Viaduct Harbour for the exciting night show line-ups on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7.30pm. Empty your piggy banks, pockets and swear jar for a handful of loose change!

Locations are spread across the Auckland CBD Waterfront and include; Queens Wharf, Princes Wharf, Eastern Viaduct, Te Wero Island, Market Square and SKYCITY, under the Sky Tower.
