1. The Orewa Beach Playground

There are 3 beachside playgrounds in a row located on the main Orewa Reserve, Hibiscus Coast Highway. An ice cream parlour, café and public toilets all in the immediate vicinity. Free gas BBQ’s and picnic seating all on site too.
2. Orewa Skate Park
Located beside the HBC Youth Centre, 214 Hibiscus Coast Highway
Skatepark for all ages and abilities which has half pipes, turn around quarter pipes, corner taco ramp, bridge, rails, ledges, and more. Parking, cafe and public toilets all within a 1 minute walk.
3. Te Ara Tahuna Estuary cycle and walkway

7km circular cycle way from the Orewa boat ramp and jetty, along the Orewa Estuary, through the Millwater subdivision and back to Orewa. The cycle and walkway is mostly flat and easy easy to ride with various start points with parking available. There are public toilets at the Orewa boat ramp. Plus there is a cafe close to the boat ramp.
