Parnell’s 60m salt water lane pool is a one-of-a-kind in Auckland. There is a hot lido pool perfect for the kids, family spa pools, an aqua playgound, loungers and a grassy picnic area with views of the harbour and Rangitoto.
Birkenhead Pool

Swim outside, even in the middle of winter in the six lane 33.3m outdoor heated pool heated to 28%. There is also a smaller indoor learners pool which is heated to 32°C
Grey Lynn Paddling Pool
Now open for the Summer Season 2025/2026.

The paddling pool is situated next to a playground in Grey Lynn Park and is lots of fun for toddlers and young children who can’t swim with a maximum depth of 75cm. There are covered shade sails over the pool and the pool is monitored by a trained lifeguard when it is open in summer. Plus there is the fun Grey Lynn Park kids playground right next to the fenced pool.

An indoor and large outdoor pool filled with thermal water. The outdoor pool is heated to 32°C and has a gently-sloping beach area for younger children. Older kids will enjoy the two thrilling water slides. With BBQ, picnic areas and an onsite cafe make it a fun day out with the family!

Outdoor pool open now for the Summer 2025/2026 season and will close in March 2025.
Indoor pools are open all year round.

The leisure centre has both indoor and outdoor pools and a splashpad for families with children to enjoy. There are five outdoor pools including an outdoor learner’s pool, outdoor toddler’s splash pool, 2.6 metre deep dedicated “bombing” pool and a hydroslide.
Point Erin Pools

Large 33 metre walk in beach style pool entrance which is great for the little kids and family fun. A 3m deep diving pool with diving boards to jump off or slide into. There is a family spa heated to 35 degrees. Plus there is a basketball court and volleyball court and you can hire tubes to float on. Point Erin Pool has views of the harbour bridge, lots of trees and grass areas for a picnic to make it a fun family day out.
Tōtara Park Pool
Open now for the Summer 2025/2026 season until the end of February 2026.

Situated within one of the city’s biggest urban bush parks, Totara Park Pool offers great fun in the sun in an idyllic environment. There are two outdoor pools, a lap and leisure pool and a toddlers’ pool. Both outdoor pools are not heated.
