Alliance Française is Auckland’s French language and cultural centre. Children’s classes are taught in a fun and friendly French immersion environment by our qualified and experienced native French teachers.
Classes for children aged 2 to 4 years, 5 to 6 years old; 7 to 10 years old and 11 to 13 years.
Fun Languages NZ
Fun Languages NZ for children offers fun based activities to get the children speaking French, Spanish, Mandarin, Japanese and English. Their structured courses are stimulating and engaging taught by experienced and trained language teachers. Children learn through a combination of drama, storytelling, songs, craft and games.
The informal and friendly classes or clubs provide a safe environment for children to develop their self-esteem and self-confidence. Young children have no inhibitions and start using the language straight away.

Asian Language School
Fun and interactive language program develops children’s proficiency in the Chinese language gradually, focusing on building their speaking and listening skills. Children attend their Chinese classes through virtual classrooms, where they will meet with their Chinese teachers using computers. Japanese classes for children are also offered.
Waitakere Japanese Supplementary School After School Programme
WJSS (Waitakere Japanese Supplementary School) is a non-profit after-school program for New Zealand-born children of Japanese heritage, immigrants’ children from Japan, and children who wish to maintain and improve their Japanese along with their parents.
After school Japanese club for chilidren aged 5 to 10 years to enjoy after school enrichment in Japanese. The class is beginner level and covers greetings, numbers, seasons, animals, food, family, crafts, cooking and to recognize hiragana.
Mandarin has emerged as the new must-have language so why not introduce this language to your child through fun and interactive learning environment. Taught by a registered primary school teacher Ray Chen, this is a great opportunity for children to be culturally inspired by the Chinese language. Suitable for kids aged 6 to 12 years old.
