Forensics @Kirstin

Kirstin School, 360 Albany Highway, Albany, North Shore.
Next offering is in the July 2020 school holidays.

Forensics is a five-day non-residential camp for kids aged 10 to 14 years old. In the first three days of the camp the detectives are give clues to a murder and they then have the chance to work with forensics testing equipment, such as DNA testing patches and fingerprint dust. They use this equipment to back-up the reports and files they receive to solve their case.

On the fourth day of the camp, the group sets up court cases and the detectives split into two, one side being the prosecutors, one being the defence lawyers. They write up arrest warrants and trial the suspects in a “Kristin Court” in front of real lawyers.
