Event Details

Festival to welcome the Year of the Ox at Halls 3 and 4 of the ASB Showgrounds organised by Auckland Chinese Community Centre Inc.

The Chinese New Year Festival & Market Day will feature the following activities:
– Grand Opening by Prime Minister at 10.00am with Lion Dance
– Over 200 specialist stalls selling traditional & exotic Chinese hot delicacies, Chinese New Year foodstuffs and Chinese traditional arts & crafts.
– Entertainment programme of Chinese cultural songs, dances and musical items
– Outdoor entertainment programme of martial arts, tai chi and other Chinese activities
– Entertainment, games and rides for children.

Price

Free entry. ASB Showground parking fees apply if you wish to park your car onsite.
