Get ready to witness the international exhibition of epic proportions 2000 years in the making. Direct from the British Museum, Ancient Greeks: Athletes, Warriors and Heroes is the largest exhibition of its kind to ever visit New Zealand.

Take an incredible journey back in time, meeting heroes and visionaries while exploring every aspect of Ancient Greek life – from art, architecture and mythology, to warfare, death and the afterlife.

It’s a once in a lifetime chance to get up close to one of the most fascinating and remarkable civilisations of human history.

Among the dozens of priceless antiquities on display will be iconic red and black Greek vases, depicting athletes, gods and battles.

Wander among spectacular terracotta and marble statues and get up close to real weapons, armour, toys, games, and gold jewellery.

Plus, marvel at treasures from the magnificent Mausoleum at Halikarnassos, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.
