Plus, for the first time in its 12-year history, Aotea Square Ice Rink has added its latest exciting feature…state-of-the-art Curling Lanes! Perfect for the whole whānau to get involved or a bit of healthy after-work competition with your colleagues or mates.

Alongside the beloved ice rink, enjoy the vibes from the popular Friday night DJs, bring your student ID for a cheeky discount on a Wednesday or join us at our Thursday Skate and Date nights for some romantic tunes on ice.

Conveniently located in the heart of the city, come and experience a winter wonderland surrounded by the lively bustle of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a fresh beginner, there is plenty of fun to be had day or night. Strap on your skates and get ready to glide into winter.

Turn up on the day or pre-book ahead of time to secure your ticket. Curling session times are subject to availability; booking is recommended.

10 am – 10 pm Sunday to Thursday

Skating Prices:

Adults (13 years and over) $26

Children (12 years and under) $21

Pre-schoolers (3- and 4-year-olds) $13

Family pass $69

Student Night Wednesday 7pm – 10pm (Student ID required) $19.

Curling prices

Per person (minimum of 2) $21

Mon-Thurs evening 5-10 pm $15

*Please note that skaters and spectators assume all risks and danger of personal injury from or related to admission to the Aotea Square Ice Rink. Minimum age for curling is 6 years.
