What does it mean to be Indian in Aotearoa? How do our Indian Aucklanders cope with having a foot in both worlds?
Hear from members of Auckland’s Indian community as they explore prejudice and pressures, as well as the joys, of their unique identity.
Panelists include: student and blogger Karishma Kumar; the current Miss India NZ, Kartika Singh; Rohan Adarkar from Totally Different; artist and educator Sarah Dutt; and Vinod Suresh, a Researcher and educator from the Bioengineering Institute, University of Auckland.
Doors open at 6:30pm and the panel discussion starts at 7pm
This evening of kōrero is a partnership between Auckland Museum and ATEED.
