Discover the Teeth & Tails of the sea this summer

Discover the Teeth & Tails of incredible aquatic animals as you go on a journey through the underwater world at SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton’s Aquarium this summer!

The aquarium is taking you on a deep dive into the form and function of sea creatures’ body parts with an activity booklet, artefacts station, origami and colouring-in station and more.

Learn about the sharp teeth of the creepy-looking moray eel, which has a hidden set of jaws to help swallow prey! Find out about the unusual mouth of the tuatara, whose teeth differ from every other toothed reptile.

You can also discover how the playful Gentoo penguins use their tail feathers to prop themselves up and how the seahorse’s tail gets its curly shape!

Visitors must pre-book their tickets online in advance during the school holidays.  This school holiday experience is on daily from Sat 19 Dec to Sun 31 Jan 2021.
