Come along for a special sensory-friendly Quiet Hours session of the Egypt: In the Time of Pharaohs exhibition at Auckland Museum.
Enjoy a comfortable environment that supports children and adults with autism and specific sensory needs. The Quiet Hour sessions have fewer visitors, reduced soundscapes, lighting and digital effects, and there’s a quiet area to take a break.
When you arrive, please enter the Museum via Te Ao Mārama South Atrium entrance and you will be directed to the Egypt: In the Time of Pharaohs exhibition.
Auckland Museum will be open to the general public from 9am, and recommend Quiet Hours ticket holders arrive by 8.45am for a 9AM start. The Egypt: In the Time of Pharaohs exhibition is open to the public from 10am. If you’d like to avoid the crowds it is recommended to leave by 9.45am, before it gets too busy.
