Geneva AM presents a wonderful afternoon of music, light and storytelling at one of Auckland’s great theatres. A production for the whole family, featuring string players, an immersive light show and a performance of Geneva’s spellbinding debut album PIKIPIKI.

Geneva AM (she/her, Ngāti Ruapani mai Waikaremoana, Ngāti Kahungunu ki Wairoa, Aitutaki, Palmerston)
Geneva AM is a producer, beat maker and vocalist based in Tāmaki Makaurau. She won the Auckland Live Best Independent Debut for the Taite Music Prize 2026. She was nominated three times at The Aotearoa Music Awards 2026 for her debut album ‘PIKIPIKI’. She has performed in Japan as well as locally in Aotearoa alongside Che Fu, Ladi6, Pan Amsterdam (NYC), she has performed at Newtown Festival 2026, Two Minds 2026 and with Tom Scott at the AMA’s. This Matariki Geneve will be performing with the Auckland Philharmonia.
Catherine Ellis
Catherine is an experimental light artist whose immersive installations transform everyday spaces into captivating sensory environments. Her practice centres on creating accessible, large-scale artworks that invite curiosity, play, and connection. Recently, she produced works alongside Angus Muir for Matariki in Britomart.
Ngā Whetu Ensemble
The Ensemble was first featured in Geneva AM’s single “Toitū Te Tiriti”, since then a rotating cast of talented string players have joined her on stage, and live radio to perform “Toitū Te Tiriti” and a special arrangement of the “Urban Planning” arranged by Eric Scholes.
