Event Details

Seafarers in the past needed to be able to tell the direction of the wind to help them navigate across Te Moana-nui-ā-kiwa / the Pacific Ocean. Go nautical this Auckland Heritage Festival, bring the kids to visit Highwic and make your own wind vane. All materials will be provided.

This craft activity will be available Wednesday through Friday, 11am to 3pm, during Auckland Heritage Festival.

Limtied parking is available onsite for visitors to Highwic.

This event is part of Auckland Council’s Auckland Heritage Festival 2024.

Price

Adults $10, accompanied children and Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga members are Free.

Maximum four children per adult. Includes entry to the house.
