Mandarin Discovery Tour for Families at Auckland Museum

For the school holidays Auckland Museum is offering a special, family-focused guided experience within Māori Court, for Mandarin speakers. This tour is for families wanting an educational, fun learning experience that strengthens the Mandarin language abilities of their kids.

Led by the museum’s Mandarin-speaking Volunteer Guide, this tour will introduce you to one of the most significant collections of Māori artefacts in the world, with over 1,000 taonga (treasures) on display. You’re welcome to ask questions throughout.

The tour will end in the newly renovated Te Ao Mārama, South Atrium where you’ll receive a complimentary activity sheet in Mandarin, to keep exploring more of the Museum together.

 Meet your tour guide in the Grand Foyer of the Museum by 11am.
