Event Details

Since 2020, one group of visitors in particular has continued to show up in droves to enjoy their Museum. Auckland Museum would like to thank the residents of Tāmaki Makaurau for their continued support throughout these Covid-impacted years by offering Aucklanders half price tickets for the month of October, to the return of our internationally acclaimed Māori Cultural Performance.

If it’s been a while since you and your whānau have seen a kapa haka group perform, this is an opportunity not to be missed. You’ll experience a vibrant glimpse of Māori culture in an engaging performance culminating with a spine-tingling haka.

After the show, be sure to take the opportunity to meet, talk and take photos with members of the group.

As this deal is only for Auckland residents, please bring along your MyMuseum card or proof of Auckland address, such as a utility bill (on your mobile phone or as a print out).
