Event Details

Only once a year private properties allow access to the Te Henga Wetland to paddle over the Waitākere River, as a fundraiser for eco-restoration project Matuku Link.

All gear and training provided for a two-hour kayak trip, starting at  9am, 11am, 1pm or 3pm.

Suggested minimum age is 12 years. Bring cash for the bbq, home baking, locally roasted coffee and drinks afterwards.

Limited tickets are available so booking is required: matukulink.org.nz/product/kayakday.
