Without modern heating and insulation there was lots of work to be done! Meet costumed Villagers as they wrap up and ready their homes for wintry weather. Interactive activities and hands-on demonstrations will take place throughout the day at the Village.
Learn how to make candles and churn butter, attend a school lesson, and get an insight into Victorian baking on the range at Puhinui homestead. If you’re lucky the cook might let you sample some baking, hot chocolate or other tasty treat.
With games, crafts and plenty to entertain all ages, this will be a Live Day not to miss!

No booking required for activities. Free parking and cafe on site.
