Event Details

The 2.2km Kids Marathon starts on Fanshawe Street, next to Victoria Park. The course travels in a clockwise loop from Fanshawe Street, turning right into Beaumont Street, right into Jellicoe Street, right into Halsey Street and then it’s a straight run down to the finish line in the heart of Victoria Park.

Start Line: Fanshawe Street (beside Victoria Park), Auckland

Finish Line: Victoria Park, Fanshawe Street, Auckland.

Children must be aged between 5 and 12 years on race day to compete. Entrants between 5 – 9 years may be accompanied by one adult on course. Accompanying adults are free of charge, but MUST register for the event.
Children aged 10 – 12 years are required to run on their own.

The Barfoot & Thompson Kids Marathon takes place as part of the Auckland Marathon.

Price

Kids Marathon Entry $30.00 to $45 (depending on what date you purchase your entry.

Please note you cannot enter on the day of the event, as you need to register by 28 October  (the day before the event) at the latest.
