Event Details

This event has been cancelled by Silo Park

The New Zealand Government announced a clear directive to cancel all events/gatherings of 500+ people. It is a sad but sensible decision and Silo Park agrees that the sole focus should be protecting New Zealanders’ health and economic well-being. The rest of Silo Parks events for Summer 2020 will be cancelled.

Studio One Toi Tū will be taking over Silo Park for a whānau-friendly day of art and creativity!

Discover the creative community of Tāmaki Makaurau through free immersive workshops, demonstrations and art exhibitions. Try your hand at figure drawing, throw some clay on the pottery wheel, collaborate on an artwork or browse exhibitions by local artists.

Food trucks, music and art workshops will be on from 12 to 6pm.

Studio One Toi Tū is an Auckland Council community arts centre on Ponsonby Road offering exhibitions, venue hire, creative courses and artists’ studio hire. The Toi Tū Takeover at Silo Park is your opportunity to discover what happens behind the doors of this unique heritage building.
