Event Details

Come on a wildlife adventure with Auckland Museum in the January school holidays. Channel your inner wild thing and use clues and your sharp senses to track down wild animals, around the Museum. We’ll search high and low to hunt down the fabulous and the fierce.

When you find them, you’ll step into their shoes for a little while. By copying their movements, sounds and behaviours, to gain a better understanding of these magnificent creatures. Challenge yourself to be kaitiaki (guardian) of our natural world.

Join this exciting actor-led expedition, as we give children and their adults a chance to be wildlife kaitiaki and to complete fun challenges together. Bring along a phone/camera to capture memories of your safari.

Each tour is limited to 16 people.

Suitable for those 8-12 years. One adult caregiver per child or family group is required to attend throughout the session to chaperone and join in the fun.
