Launching in April and running through to December, Auckland Live’s Pick & Mix is showcasing some of Aotearoa’s finest talent across the city with free monthly performances. From circus to hip-hop, mask making to ballet, there’s something for every family to keep them occupied throughout the year.

Auckland Live has chosen a range of workshops and events spread across one weekend each month (with the exception of June and November) each with a different performance. Audience favourites will make a reappearance, while new faces grace the stage and entertain those of all ages. Between mimes, circus and the incredible art of poi, you’re bound to keep the little ones entertained while picking up some tricks along the way!

Each event will host a 45 minute workshop after the performance so be sure to stick around to learn a new skill, like some new ballet moves with the Royal New Zealand Ballet, circus tricks with The Dust Palace or the White Face Crew’s hilarious comedy tricks.

Auckland Live Pick & Mix aims to immerse kids into the world of performing arts, by providing families with engaging events across circus, dance, song and more. Featuring high quality performances and workshops, the programme hopes to open new doors for children through the magic of live entertainment!

Auckland Live Pick & Mix is FREE, however bookings are essential. Tickets will be available one month prior to each show. Everyone attending must have a ticket for entry, with the exception of children aged 23 months or younger.
