Who is on Cinderella’s Naught & Nice List this Christmas?

Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes & Dirty Beasts - Auckland Live

Who is on Cinderella's "Naughty and Nice List" this year?

Cinderella will take the stage alongside many of her friends and foes in Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes and Dirty Beasts from the 21st  to 23rd of December. With Christmas just around the corner, we wanted to find out who is on Cinderella’s Naughty and Nice list this year.

So Cinderella, who’s at the top of your nice list this year?

This year, children from all over the world have banded together to march for climate change to show that they are not keeping quiet about the future of our earth! I hope that all of these activists get everything they want when they wake up on Christmas morning!

We hear a friend of yours has also made it to the list…

Yes! My dear friend Snow White deserves to be here every year. Not only does she care for all of the birds and animals in the neighbourhood, but she also has a house full of men and never complains! Not only that, but she does a great job in the show too – make sure you come along and check us out!

Who’s next on your nice list?

The last person on my nice list this year is a big one… literally! The Queen Street Santa is stepping down, with this year being his last year keeping his eyes open and looking for the naughty and nice behaviour happening along the busy Auckland street. I hope Santa has a trip to the beach planned after 60 years of hard work.

As much as we wish there was only a nice list, there’s bound to be a few people who land on the naughty side! Who’s first on your list this year?

Another one of my co-stars is making the list AGAIN this year – I’ve lost track of how many times he’s been on the naughty list! The Big Bad Wolf has yet again tried to blow down the houses of the poor three little pigs, it’s getting out of hand! Hopefully he doesn’t try to blow down Bruce Mason Centre when we go there…

He’s always getting himself into trouble! We hear there are some more animals on your naughty list, is that right?

Unfortunately, yes! It’s come to my attention that there are some very naughty penguins in New Zealand, homed at the National Aquarium in Napier. I’ve especially heard bad things about Mo and Timmy, who are known to be lazy, greedy and thieves! I think these penguins need to clean their acts up or they might end up with coal in their stockings instead of fish come Christmas time!

Who’s last on your naughty list for 2019?

My step-sisters are at it again! When they’re not stealing my shoes, they’re asking me to sweep the chimney or fold their clothes. At this stage my step-sisters have a spot of the list, but if they do something nice for me between now and Christmas, they might just have a chance to redeem themselves and get on the nice list instead…

You can see Cinderella and many of her friends at the Bruce Mason Centre this December for Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes and Dirty Beasts, tickets are available from Auckland Live.
