Their are lot’s of exciting activities to entertain the kids in the Spring School Holidays 2023 in Hamilton in the North Island in New Zealand. We will be updating this page with more events throughout the school holidays, so remember to check back later on to see new events that have been added.
New Zealand Cherry Blossom Festival
Where: English Cherry Tree Manor, 125 Matangi Road, Hamilton, New Zealand
When: 23, 24, 29 and 30 September and 1, 7 and 8 October 2023

Enjoy the cherry blooms and there will be lots of activities for the kids at the Festival include an arts table, bubble, face painting, alpacas, treasure hunts, and pony rides. Plus they have themed days of entertainment and activities:

Wellington Museum is hosting the 7th Children’s Art exhibition which is displaying all the submitted artworks from tamariki aged 3 to 12 years.
Shadows & Puppets Workshop at Hamilton Central Library

Children aged 6 to 12 years old can enjoy a 3 hour to discover the magic of shadow puppetry at Hamilton Library. Bookings are essential.

Delight Blossom in the Park

Event information
Delight in the many blooms of early spring along the 2km art-in-nature trail. The early spring blossoms of magnolia, cherry, iris, daffodils and many other floral highlights are a delight for kids to spot on this walk.
FREE Bumper Car Fun at Chartwell Shopping Centre

Sculpture and 3D Character Design Holiday Programme
Where: Waikato Society of Arts, 120 Victoria Street Hamilton

Tweens and teens aged 12 to 17 years old can learn how to bring a creature to life at this holiday programme run by the Waikato Society of Arts. They can learn how to design and sculpt their own main character using Super Sculpey.
