Whenuapai Settlement Playground

This Whenuapai Settlement Playground is packed full of fun and had plenty to keep my son (Tristan 7 yrs) and daughter (Cheverny 5 yrs) very entertained indeed!
The massive tunnel slide definitely stands out in this very residential area but there are also many more great features. There are two extra large swings which are great for older children, a seesaw, tunnels, lots of climbing walls (including an actual stone wall that you can climb) and more fun things to do. The artificial turn hills sloping at different angles really feeds the imagination and both kids had a great time climbing up and sliding down the turf and playing games. It also has an in ground trampoline, a basket swing and 2 other swings (including one with back support).
We think the playground is suitable for children of all ages as there is something for every age group to enjoy.
Right next door to the park is The ParkHouse a child friendly restaurant with a kids menu. Your older kids can play outside and you can still keep a watch on them from The ParkHouse. As the playground is not fenced if you children are young, then you may want to play together in the park first before heading to the restaurant.
