Bring your 5 to 10 year olds along to explore the NORTHART gallery. Wander through the Photographic Exhibitions across all 5 Galleries. Choose a few works to focus on and look at how the artist has divided up the picture and placed the objects within the work. Then go back into the Studio Space and have fun coming up with your own interesting composition designs using ‘Your Favourite Things’ for subject matter. Pick a few of these designs and develop them further on larger paper using crayon or pastel.

D-Day open day commerates an event that took place on the 6 June 1944. Dubbed “Operation Overlord” the invasion consisted of over 100,000 troops, 900 armoured vehicles, 13,000 aircraft and over 2000 ships. Come on out to Ardmore and remember this day of the Second World War. There will be plenty happening on both the tarmac and in the air. Flying slots confirmed at 11am, 12:45pm & 2:30pm
