We are giving away a copy of the children’s book Ngā Purū o Hauraki written by award-winning children’s author and isllustrator Nikki Slade Robinson and translated by Tane Karamaina, This is the te reo edition of Hauraki Broo.
Hauraki Broo, a young Bryde’s Whale is searching for food but it’s getting harder and harder to find.This beautiful and inspiring tale addresses the challenges faced by marine life in the Hauraki Gulf, and skillfully reminds us of the importance of the conservation of our whole marine environment.
The book includes two pages of information about the whales in the Hauraki Gulf.
