With a packed lineup of talented artists with strong connections to Africa, dance, markets and some of TÄmaki Makaurauâs tastiest food trucks, you wonât want to miss this chance to immerse in all things Africa.
Treat your ears to internationally-renowned Rwandan-Kiwi rapper Raiza Biza, Zimbabwe-born TK Paradza, DJ Banty, PHAROAHSWAMi, Burundian Kiwi DJ ORIKoL, Warren Duncan and Amapiano Band, Afrounitdance NZ, Afro-fusion singer-songwriter Chika Adeosun, DJ Magoo, Audrey and the Afro-Tronic dance studio.
Africa Day is the first of many cultural celebrations by African Youth Movement Aotearoa (AYMA), a women-led organisation which nurtures and supports young African creatives in Aotearoa.
