In remembrance of ANZAC, Nightly from Monday 25 April – Sunday 1 May there will be illuminations, projections and sound installations on the grounds of St David’s.
The great leadlights of St David’s will be illuminated, and waiata, taonga puoro, voices and imagery of remembrance will emanate from the Soldiers’ Memorial Church.
New Zealanders are invited to share images of family members who served Aotearoa New Zealand during, and since World War One, including current members of the New Zealand Defence Force.T
hese images will be projected onto the walls of St David’s Memorial Church from 6pm – 9.30pm each evening.
This is a FREE event for all to view.

Friends of St DavidsSt David’s was built as the Soldiers’ Memorial Church with the promise “to keep green the faith and courage and sacrifice” of those who gave their lives in WWI. The Friends of Saint David’s Trust is a registered New Zealand charity founded to keep that promise, to Remember Them by saving the Soldiers’ Memorial Church from demolition.
