Celebrate Auckland’s vibrant Indian culture at the annual Diwali Festival. Aotea Square will come to life with the sights, sounds and flavours of India this Labour weekend.
The festival is free to attend and features a variety of dance and musical performances, Indian food stalls and art & craft displays celebrating Indian culture and Auckland’s diversity. It’s the perfect event to head along to with family and friends.
Festival highlights include:
– Street food stalls showcasing delicious & authentic vegetarian Indian cuisine
– Traditional and contemporary dance and music
– The Rangoli Chalk Art Competition on Freyberg Square
– Ellen Melville Centre (Mokaa exhibition, Technology hub, DIY henna workshop and much more.
