Event Details

Celebrate Aucklandā€™s vibrant Indian culture at the annual Diwali Festival. Aotea Square will come to life with the sights, sounds and flavours of India on the weekend of the 8th to 9th October.

The festival is FREE to attend and features a variety of dance and musical performances, Indian food stalls and art & craft displays celebrating Indian culture and Aucklandā€™s diversity. Itā€™s the perfect event to head along to with family and friends.

On Sunday 9 October the festival will close with a spectacular fireworks display at approximately 8:50pm too!

The Auckland Diwali Festival is delivered by Tātaki Auckland with founding partner Asia New Zealand Foundation.
