Event Details

Experience Autumn at the village! Try the Outdoor Discovery Trail and learn about some of the trees in the gardens that have recently lost their leaves in activities and crafts.

The following activities are also happening in the school holidays:

· Feed the Chooks: everyday at 10:45am

· Butter Making: Tuesdays 19 & 26 April and Fridays 22 & 29 April fom 10:30am – 3pm

· Acorn crafts: Saturdays and Sundays at 11am – 12:30pm.

With plenty of room for distancing in the outdoor setting, bring a picnic or pick-up something from the Homestead Café and make a day of it! Explore the heritage buildings and learn about the lives of early Auckland settlers.

Howick Historical Village is a living history museum on 7 acres of grounds and heritage gardens. The museum depicts a settlement from 1840 to 1880 and offers visitors an immersive historical experience.
