Children’s book author Malcolm Clarke hosts Tu Meke Tamariki: a creative presentation for children of all ages. Expect giggles and gasps as Malcolm begins with an interactive reading of his award-winning book, Tu Meke Tūī! The event will then provide attendees with inspiration for their own character exploration and encourage engagement with our natural world through waiata and creative play. Suitable for children 2 – 8 years of age and their whānau.
The book reading will be held indoors at Huia Lodge Discovery Hub (next to the Cornwall Park Bistro) on Sunday 24th July from 11 am to 11.45 am
All attendees over the age of 12 years will be required to wear a face mask.
Registration is essential and numbers are limited.
This event will take place if it fits within the current Protection Framework restrictions and Government guidelines at the time. Possibility of postponement or cancellation if Framework restrictions and New Zealand Government guidelines change, or if the event is affected by staffing shortages. Masks are required for this event.
