Calling all LEGO® fans big and small! Don’t miss this exclusive chance to explore a world where everything is simply… awesome!

The exhibition is extended by popular demand until Sun 2 May 2021.

Brickman Awesome: Epic LEGO® Brick Creations is the latest exhibition from the mind of LEGO® Certified Professional, Ryan ‘The Brickman’ McNaught at Auckland Museum.

Step inside the all-new South Atrium and you’ll be greeted by a towering NASA SLS rocket. The tallest LEGO® brick model in the Southern Hemisphere at 7.5 metres. Built with more than 450,000 bricks, it’s even equipped with a lighting and sound system, to blast it off into space!

But that’s only the start of the awesomeness that awaits inside the exhibition, which includes a life-sized LEGO® Harley Davidson and an incredibly detailed model of the DeLorean from the Back to the Future movies.

Then there’s the 2.5m orca, a giant redback spider, amazing cutaway models of ships and castles and much, much more. Altogether, these awesome models took Ryan and his team almost 5,000 hours to build!

If you’re feeling inspired, dig into two million LEGO® bricks and build your own awesome creation.

The exhibition is on daily from Thursday 3 December 2020 to Sunday 2 May.
Timed entry every half hour between 10am – 4pm.
